This aptitude-based online program is a first-of-its-kind, scientifically and performance-based assessment system. Gaussi Program at Colorado State University. The program provides basic training in molecular biology, biosensors, programming, math, and statistics. The goal of the program is for students from different backgrounds to join together for advanced training in experimental and computational aspects of biosensing and next-generation sequencing during their graduate studies. In addition, professional development activities and opportunities for outreach through interaction with K-12 students are also integral components of the program.
